35 Year Nuclear Licensing and Compliance Expert to Help Expand Certrec’s Office of Licensing and Compliance Team
Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) March 22, 2016 — Certrec, a leading licensing and regulatory compliance service provider that supports NRC and NERC compliance, announced today that industry veteran Mike Schoppman has joined its staff to cover selected NRC meetings in Washington DC.
Mr. Schoppman recently retired, after 14 years, as an NEI Senior Project Manager. He has over 35 years of experience in the areas of Licensing, Project Management, Tech Specs, FSAR, and Compliance.

Mr. Schoppman is ideally suited for covering NRC meetings, having represented Florida Power and Light in its Bethesda, MD office (15 years), Framatome in its Rockville, MD office (4 years), and NEI (14 years). At NEI he was responsible for the Licensing Action Task Force and provided leadership in developing industry-wide resolution to generic licensing issues.
