Last month, we asked our audience what part of the grid allows backup power during outages? Overall, the most voted answer was Microgrid at 44 percent. In second place, Solar Farms received 33 percent of the vote. Supergrid received 22 percent of the vote. Finally, Nanogrid received the least votes, at one percent.
The correct answer is Microgrid. Microgrids provide backup power during main grid failures. They enable a continuous energy supply to critical facilities like hospitals, schools, and emergency services, providing an extra layer of resilience and response to extraneous circumstances
